Flynn is the key developer of Synchronium Films’ first production, the narrative short film Imp of Satan. He has been an actor for 20 years, as well as a writer, singer, and drag performer, with accolades being granted by the Santa Cruz Sentinel and San Francisco Bay-Guardian for his many performances. In 2006, with virtually no contacts in the local film industry, he began establishing a personal network that facilitated the pre-production of Imp of Satan, his first film; by 2007 the film was completed and released independently for a limited run at the Red Vic Moviehouse, and attracted the attention of local news media for “saving queer horror film from the clutches of mediocre types who are hell bent on tearing it down.” (Flavorpill Magazine, September 2007). He is currently pursuing a degree in Creative Writing at San Francisco State University, and avidly engaged in the distribution of Imp of Satan and the development of new projects for Synchronium Films. Flynn has recently appeared in the stage productions Psycho Beach Party, A Beautiful Thing, Dangerous Liaisons, Beautiful – A Theatre Party, and The Tenderloin, and also produces and hosts the weekly drag cabaret Pink Slip under the guise of his alter-ego Virginia Suicide.
